Mundelein man charged in hit-and-run crash

A Mundelein man was arrested about 12:15 p.m. Sunday after Lincolnshire police stopped his damaged car in their town and found he had been involved in a hit-and-run crash, authorities said. Marcin Glas, 35, of the 1200 block of Spaulding Drive, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of drugs, aggravated driving with a suspended license and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. The accident had occurred on the Tri-State Tollway, police said. Glas had heroin in the car, police said. Additional charges were pending.
