Lucas Orthodontics makes donation to District 96

Dr. Kevin Lucas, an orthodontist in Buffalo Grove, continues to stay active in the community by participating in the third annual District 96 Dash.

The District 96 Dash is a 5K run/walk held at Twin Groves Middle School. All proceeds go to “Kids In Need Fund,” benefiting children in local schools.

On Oct. 6, Lucas and his family joined many of his patients and raced them to the finish line.

“It’s great to see so many of my patients getting involved in helping the community,” Lucas said.

Lucas donated $20 to District 96 for each patient who finished ahead of him in the race, as well as every patient that finished in the top 100. Twelve of Lucas’ patients finished in the top 100, bringing the total donation to $240. Lucas also rewarded each of these winners with a gift card to a local yogurt shop.
