Hoffman Estates hosts free photo workshop

The Hoffman Estates Arts Commission is hosting a free photography seminar on preserving old pictures in the digital age, 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, in the Frank Alexa Training Room at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road. James Hojnacki, an award-winning professional photographer from Hoffman Estates, will discuss the equipment and steps necessary to copy or scan old photographs, slides or negatives to create digital files that can be shared in a variety of ways.
