Buffalo Grove firefighters pass out treats

For the sixth year, members of the Buffalo Grove Fire Department will be out in the village’s neighborhoods on Halloween passing out trick-or-treat bags with some goodies. One of the goodies might be a ride to school on fire truck. A thousand bags will given out to children as they walk through the village and 10 of those bags will contain a “Golden Ticket” for a ride to school on a fire truck. This is an opportunity to talk to the firefighters and, if you have a camera, have your picture taken by the fire truck. It’s also a chance for the firefighters to have fun with children while providing an extra set of eyes watching over them.
