Support Toys for Tots Drive at Des Plaines event
The Des Plaines Youth Commission will host the Toys for Tots Family Blast from 6-8:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker St.
Everyone is invited to bring a new toy for a tot for the Marines Toys for Tots Drive and one can of food for the Des Plaines Self Help Closet and Food Pantry for free admission to this family fun night.
Some of the highlights of the evening include a bounce house, inflatable golf, basketball, a steeplechase run and long jump by AthleticCo, bingo, arts & crafts, storytime with Cheryl and Ania, Dance Dance Revolution, a scavenger hunt, Jenga Blocks, face painting by Gloria and other artists, food and beverages.
