The Mental Health Ministry at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva will present the second lecture in an ongoing series of talks about mental illness and treatment at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva, 110 S. Second St.

St. Charles resident and church member George Tattersfield will discuss the effectiveness of psychotropic medication in relieving his anxiety and depression.

Following his presentation, several members of the UUSG Mental Health Ministry will join him to answer questions about psychiatric medications and their use either by themselves or in conjunction with psychotherapy.

This discussion is the second in a monthly series focusing on the many aspects of mental health and psychiatric treatment, presented by UUSG.
