Ela Road closing in Lake Zurich
The village of Lake Zurich will close Ela Road from Route 12 to Route 22 starting at 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4. Officials said Ela Road is scheduled to reopen to traffic the evening of Nov. 18. The closure is necessary as part of a Lake Zurich water main replacement project. Motorists will be directed to use a detour on Route 12 to Route 22.
