The skinny: The Panthers (3-6), who already have a pair of three-game losing streaks to their credit, look to put together their first winning streak of the season after a 2-1 shootout victory over Minnesota on Saturday. The win was keyed by a 31-save performance by former Boston goalie Tim Thomas. Corey Crawford will be in goal for the Blackhawks.
