Community partnership collect paper products for self-help pantry

The City of Des Plaines Health and Human Services Division, in collaboration with the Des Plaines Healthy Community Partnership, will be collecting donations of paper products for the Self-Help Closet & Pantry of Des Plaines, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 26, at the following stores: Shop & Save: 518 Metropolitan Way, Des Plaines; and Kmart: 1155 E. Oakton Street, Des Plaines.

Donations of the following items would be appreciated:

 paper towels

 toilet paper

 facial tissue

 diapers

 sanitary products

The Self-Help Closet & Pantry is located at 600 E. Algonquin Road.
