Senior health fair:
State Rep. Ed Sullivan and State Sen. Dan Duffy will host their annual senior citizens’ health fair Friday, Oct. 18, at the Libertyville Sports Complex, 1950 N. Route 45, Libertyville, from 9 a.m. to noon. The fair is free and open to the public. Seniors will be able to receive their seasonal flu and pneumonia vaccines, and blood pressure, body mass index, glucose and hearing tested. Seniors will be able to tour the Cook Memorial Public Library’s “Bookmobile.” Illinois Veteran, ID Theft prevention and senior services information will be available. Local Libertyville and Lake County agencies will also be there. Free coffee and light refreshments will be served. Also, seniors will be able to register to win door prizes.
