GOP frequently has candidate forums

I wish to correct the record regarding (Elk Grove Township GOP committeeman) candidate (Scott) Lietzow’s pronouncement that “If I hadn’t decided to run, the township would have missed out on the opportunity to hear from our Republican candidates for governor.”

The Republican Organization of Elk Grove Township has a long tradition of presenting candidate forums. I have attended many in the past, and had the honor of being a moderator.

I am concerned that Mr. Lietzow would blatantly misrepresent the facts. The continuing mission of the R.O.E.G.T. is, and always has been, to encourage informed decisions by the Elk Grove Township voters.
