Shutdown will affect how I vote

I think it is nothing short of shameful that those I sent to represent me in the Congress of the United States would act so childish as to shut down the government and deprive those who work for it of pay.

This will make a huge impact as to who I vote for in 2014 and 2016. I am glad that my dad, who served in World War II, is not here today to witness such disgrace. He would not recognize the world he left in 1994.

I hope you will do everything to get our government back in business ASAP.
