Long Grove Oktoberfest coming this weekend

Long Grove is holding its fall Oktoberfest celebration this weekend. Everyone is invited to celebrate the historic village’s German roots from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12 and 13.

Activities this weekend include Oktoberfest beer tents, authentic German specialty food, live entertainment and German music.

There will be free hayrides throughout the town from 1 to 5 p.m. both days. There is no admission fee for the festival.
