If you know of someone who lives or works in Arlington Heights and is worthy of a Heart of Gold Award, consider nominating them for the 16th annual “Arlington Heights Hearts of Gold” award program. Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, November 22.

Consider nominating a neighbor, business person, teacher, a group, young student or a volunteer - anyone who lives or works in our community and has positively impacted the lives of others through their work, volunteerism or kind deed. There are 11 Hearts of Gold Awards given out annually that recognize the "Unsung Heroes" of Arlington Heights.

A nomination form can be filled out online at www.vah.com - just look for the news story on the Home Page regarding Hearts of Gold. Included in the nomination information is a description of the award categories and a downloadable nomination form. When making your nominations, please include as much detail as possible.
