Hawthorn Woods offers flu shots

The village of Hawthorn Woods will offer a flu shot clinic on Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in conjunction with the senior luncheon at the Village Barn. All residents are invited to attend. Vaccinations will be provided by a Certified Immunizer Walgreens Pharmacist who will be able to vaccinate those 14 years of age and up. The cost of the shot is $25.99 if not covered by insurance (bring your card, they will submit the paperwork), however, it is covered 100 percent by Medicare Part B and Medicaid.
