Dismembered body found in Chicago backyard

CHICAGO — Chicago police are investigating after a man's dismembered body was found buried in a backyard on the city's southwest side.

The man's remains were found Friday afternoon.

A police spokesman says Sunday that the case is still being investigated and no arrests have been made.

An autopsy shows the man died from “multiple sharp force injuries” and assault.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office says Sunday that they haven't released the man's name or age.
