Twin Lakes Oktoberfest is Sunday

Twin Lakes Recreation Area will host its 20th annual Oktoberfest from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6. Live music from Dick Theml and The Alpiners; fresh brats, German potato salad, potato pancakes, and other German foods. The Twin Lakes Pumpkin Patch will be open for business — the cost of a pumpkin is either $5 or five food items for the Palatine Food Pantry. Free hayrides, and $1 face painting.
