3 teenagers shot, injured in Chicago park
Chicago Police are investigating after three teenage boys were shot while playing basketball in a park on the city's South Side.
Authorities say all three — a 15-year-old, 16-year-old and 17-year-old — were taken to hospitals and are in stable condition after Tuesday night's shootings in the city's South Deering neighborhood.
Police spokeswoman Amina Greer says the three were playing basketball when gunfire erupted just before 9 p.m.
The 15-year-old was shot in the legs and buttocks and was in stable condition at Comer Children's Hospital. She says the two other teens were each shot in both legs and are in stable condition at Christ Advocate Medical Center.
On Wednesday, no one had been arrested. But authorities believe the shooting was gang-related.
