City of Des Plaines Says, “Happy 35th Anniversary Center of Concern!”

Des Plaines Mayor Matthew J. Bogusz surprised Executive Director of The Center of Concern John McNabola with a proclamation acknowledging The Center's 35th Anniversary when McNabola visited the Mayor's Office this week. The Center of Concern, 1580 N. Northwest Highway, Park Ridge, is a nonprofit social service agency, providing housing solutions, support services and counseling for seniors, disabled and others in need in Des Plaines and surrounding areas. Each year the City of Des Plaines contributes funding to local nonprofit agencies to address the community's critical social needs. The Center of Concern is one of the agencies supported by the City. During McNabola's visit to City Hall Mayor Bogusz commented, “The City of Des Plaines is proud to celebrate the Center of Concern's 35th Anniversary and acknowledge Executive Director McNabola, his board and staff. The Center is fully committed to its mission and to citizens, businesses and civic leaders of Des Plaines. This is a perfect opportunity for us to say ‘thank you' for many years of dedicated service.” (pictured left to right) Des Plaines Mayor Matthew J.
