On Thursday, September 26th, Stevenson School held a McTeacher's Night at the McDonald's on Dempster Ave. Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for the school. Twenty Four teachers each worked for one and a half hour shifts. The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, teachers cleaning the lobby, front counter teachers, drink teachers, teachers clearing tables, teachers on the ice cream machine, teachers working outside. There were teachers singing for tips and teachers collecting tips. Stevenson school had it all covered, and the families all had a great time.

The School plans to use the money raised to go into the PTO fund for future programming. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out to support the school. It was an outstanding show of support and as a result all the kids came to see their teachers work at McDonald's. A special appearance by Ronald McDonald helped make this fundraiser a memorable evening.Families enjoyed taking pictures with and talking with Ronald McDonald. It was a great night! The school mascot, Stevie Star, was also present the whole night and the kids had so much fun with Stevie as well as Ronald McDonald. Stevie and Ronald were also thrilled to meet each other.
