Job fair for vets in Lake Zurich:

Lake Zurich’s American Legion post at 51 Lions Drive will host a veterans job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20. At least 31 employers are scheduled to have a table at the fair, Post 964 Cmdr. Richard Johnson said. Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes. Among the companies expected are Cardinal Health, Comcast, Durable Packaging, Union Pacific Railroad, Rust-Oleum and State Farm. Johnson said experts will be available for those needing help filing claims with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
