Sunset Foods Celebrates Unveiling of Revamped Libertyville Location with a Grand Opening Celebration

Sunset Foods proudly announces the unveiling of its newly remodeled Libertyville location. The family-owned store is marking the milestone with a Grand Opening Celebration at the Libertyville store on Saturday, September 21 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Shoppers are invited to peruse the renovated space, purchase Sunset Foods' new signature selections and indulge in the store's exclusive new offerings, including:

-The NEW Libertyville Grill, an on-site restaurant featuring a Gourmet Burger Bar including “Build Your Own” and Signature Burgers, delicious wraps, paninis, sensational sandwiches, and an expansive kids menu

-The NEW Liberty Tap, an in-store bar, serving craft beers, boutique wines, and appetizers

- The FIRST EVER Graeter's Ice Cream Shop in the state of Illinois

-An artisan and specialty fresh-cut cheese department with a full-time cheese-monger

-A 12-kettle fresh seasonal soup bar, along with a 4-kettle fresh seasonal seafood soup bar

-An enhanced deli and prepared foods area

-An improved floral department, featuring Sunset Floral Design (formerly Angelo Floral and Design Studio) providing custom designs and arrangements for large special events including weddings, anniversaries, parties and funerals

-Outdoor seating for 75 people

The Grand Opening Celebration will spotlight the store's new offerings and introduce shoppers to some of Sunset Foods' distinguished chefs and vendors, including Sunset's very own Chef Michelle Garcia who will be baking up delicious cookies and slices of cake for guests to sample. Mrs. Illinois, Lisa Sonnenberg, will also make an appearance with her new Gluten Free Queen's Treats Cookies. Chef to the Stars, Jamie Laurita, will be on-hand serving Bello Boy Champagne for shoppers to sample as they shop and celebrate Sunset Foods! Throughout day, guests will also enjoy live music while sampling decadent selections from Big Fork Sausage, Twofold Granola, Simply Appetizers, Kokku Chocolate, Hoosier Momma Bloody Mary Mix, Academia Barilla, and more. With light bites, libations, tempting raffle prizes, a kid-zone featuring Holly the balloon sculptor and more – the Grand Opening Celebration promises to be a destination for friends and foodies of all ages.
