Police academy for Hispanics:

The Mundelein Police Department will host a citizens police academy for Hispanic residents starting Sept. 19. Classes, mostly in Spanish, will run every Thursday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the police station, 221 N. Lake St. To participate, contact Cmdr.
