Crash holds up traffic on Main Street in Barrington

Main Street in Barrington was closed temporarily Wednesday evening due to a multiple vehicle crash, according to officials.

Police said the accident occurred near the intersection of Main Street and Cold Spring Road around 8 p.m.

A fire department spokesman said the crash was a four-car rear-end accident. One person was transported to an undisclosed hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
