Palatine Historical Society to highlight police department’s past

The Palatine Historical Society’s upcoming meeting will feature Palatine Police Cmdr. Mike Seebacher leading a presentation on the history of the Palatine Police Department and the village’s police stations.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the police headquarters, 595 N. Hicks Road, Palatine. A tour of the facility will be given after the presentation.
