Bridge Youth & Family Services to hold walk/run Sept. 28

Bridge Youth & Family Services will hold its 5th annual Bridge the Gap 5k Walk/Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, beginning at the Palatine Township Elementary District 15 building, 580 N. First Bank Drive, Palatine.

The event will serve as a fundraiser for the Palatine-based organization, which helps troubled kids lead happier, more successful lives regardless of their ability to pay for services.

Top runners in each age category will receive prizes. The fee for adults is $25 until Sept. 21 or $35 after. Kids ages 6 to 18 can register for $15 or $20 after Sept. 21. Register online at bridgeyouth.org.
