Palatine Historical Society to hold History Crawl

The Palatine Historical Society will hold a History Crawl from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, beginning at the intersection of Palatine and Plum Grove roads in downtown Palatine. Participants will be led from there to several places of historical significance within the village.

Costumed actors and docents will tell stories and share the history of each location, which are different from past years. The event will end at Lamplighter’s Inn.

Tickets are available in advance for $10 at the Clayson House Museum, 224 E. Palatine Road, and the Community Center, 250 E. Wood St. Tickets also can be purchased at the starting point for $15. For more information, call (847) 991-6460 or go to palatinehistoricalsociety.com.
