Elgin 9, CICS Northwood 1: Adan Ramirez had a hat trick and Daniel Geary scored twice to lead the Maroons to a win in the Lasallian Cup tournament. Eric Whiteman, Jonathan Martinez, Luis Maldonado and Tirso Reynoso also scored for Elgin (1-0-2) and Eleno Montes had 4 saves in goal. Elgin will take on host St. Patrick Thursday.

McHenry 2, Hampshire 1: Tyler Koppie scored off an assist from Jose Hernandez but Hampshire (2-1) fell in overtime in a Fox Valley Conference crossover. Andy Pederson had 14 saves in goal for the Whip-Purs.
