Play Math Midway 2 Go with Arlington library

Arlington Heights Memorial Library invites you to its interactive math carnival, Math Midway 2 Go, featured in the library’s Marketplace from Sept. 9-29.

It highlights the wonder of mathematics and features six interactive, custom-designed exhibits with hands-on activities that will captivate and engage visitors of all ages. Make your own designs on the Miles of Tiles magnetic wall. Find shapes within shapes using the Ring of Fire. Design the fastest roller coaster using the Roller Graphicoaster.

The exhibit is part of the library’s effort to promote STEM education.

“Skim through any magazine or newspaper about education, science, or politics and you will probably run across a reference to STEM initiatives. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math have never been more important to our future,” said executive director Jason Kuhl.

Drop in during library hours and see how much fun math can be. All ages are invited. MM2GO is a production of the National Museum of Mathematics, momath.org.
