Palatine Jaycees to hold An Art Affair Around the Square

The Palatine Jaycees will hold their ninth annual juried art fair, “An Art Affair Around the Square,” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, and Sunday, Sept. 8, in Towne Square, Palatine Road and Smith Street, Palatine. Artists from specialties including water color, acrylic, oil, pottery, fine jewelry, stained glass and pastels will be represented. The weekend show also includes live entertainment by local musicians and papier-mâché demonstrations by Palatine Sister Cities. The Palatine Jaycees provide individuals between the ages of 21 and 40 the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills while serving their community.
