Last time: On Wednesday, the Dream lost to the visiting Washington Mystics, 85-80; on Saturday, the Sky defeated the host Dream, 67-56.
Skinny: This is another great opportunity for the Sky to move even closer to an Eastern Conference championship. Having won five straight games, the Sky is the hottest team in the WNBA and is pulling away from second-place Atlanta, which is already five games behind…In Atlanta last weekend, the Sky beat the Dream at its own game. Atlanta is the best team in the WNBA at forcing turnovers but was plagued by 22 of its own against the Sky. Star rookie Elena Delle Donne came up big for the Sky with 25 points, 8 rebounds and two 3-pointers. The Dream, which has lost three straight games, was missing key players in guard Tiffany Hayes (11.6 ppg, knee) and forward Sancho Lyttle (14.3 ppg, foot). Former Sky guard Armintie (Price) Herrington, who starts for the Dream, played only 17 minutes before suffering a head injury that forced her to leave the game. She missed the Dream’s game against Washington.
