Ÿ Cody A. Hoye, 21, of the 5N200 block of Bluff Road, St. Charles, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, not having insurance, driving too fast for conditions and failure to reduce speed after a 7:35 p.m. crash Sunday at Randall and Red Gate roads near St. Charles, according to a sheriff’s report. The crash also caused $1,000 damage to a resident’s trees and grass.

Ÿ Someone caused more than $300 damage to a mailbox in the 39W200 block of Longmeadow Lane near St. Charles at about 10 p.m. Thursday, according to a sheriff’s report.
