Lake County retired teachers:

The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meet at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Lambs Farm restaurant, at Route 176 and I-94, near Libertyville. The cost is $16 per person for the buffet luncheon and meeting. This month, Bob Lyons, a Teachers’ Retirement System board member, updates the latest happenings in Springfield relevant to the TRS and pension crisis. All retired educators are welcome to attend and no reservations are necessary.
