Des Plaines Garden Club September 12, 2013 Meeting
The Des Plaines Garden Club will hold it's "Welcome Back Meeting" starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Frisbie Senior Center, 52 E. Northwest Hwy., Des Plaines, IL.
Our hostesses will provide treats, coffee and tea. Buy a $1.00 ticket for our raffle and win a fun prize. Meeting begins at 12:00 p.m. followed by our program, "Magic in the Garden, and Monarch Conservation" at 1:00 p.m. Pat Miller, also known as 'The Butterfly Lady,' will explain why there is a decline in the butterfly populations, and will demonstrate the tagging of Monarch butterflies for their return flight to Mexico.
