CPR class Sept. 10 in Arlington Heights

The Arlington Heights Fire Department is providing CPR instruction from 7-10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Arlington Heights Fire Department Administration Headquarters/Fire Station #2, 1150 N. Arlington Heights Road. Class will be held in the Training Room, located on the second floor.

The cost is $40 per person, and includes a Lay Responder course that teaches:

타 Recognition and emergency resuscitation techniques for adult heart attack, stroke and choking.

타 Injury and cardiac arrest prevention.

타 Treatment of cardiac emergencies.

타 Choking in infants and children.

Class size is limited to 18 students and students must be at least 16 years old.

A card from the American Heart Association documenting successful CPR course completion will be issued to participants.
