A record number of cases of Lyme disease have been reported this year in Lake County and a local support group is available to offer advice and assistance. The Lyme Support Network works to increase awareness of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases and provide support to those who are ill. Elizabeth Maloney, the group’s medical adviser, is a nationally known expert who provides accredited training for medical professionals.
