Panel to discuss new athlete-catastrophic insurance law
Three young athletes who have survived catastrophic injury will discuss their new book and the new Illinois athlete-catastrophic insurance law. Deacon Don Grossnickle, director of disability outreach of Vicariate 1 of the Archdiocese of Chicago, hosts the discussion at 7-8:30 p.m. Aug. 27 in the Arlington Heights Memorial Library Hendrickson Room, 500 N. Dunton Ave. Hear about Rob Komosa and seven other athletes highlighted in the book “Unbreakable Resilience: Leap of Faith Stories to Live By” subtitled “Eight Survivor Athletes Piecing Together the Grace and Blessings of an Imperfect Life.” The panelists are Kenneth Jennings, Steve Herbst and J.J. O’Connor. The event is free.
