a Traditional Farmers Market in Wadsworth.

A traditional Farmers Market is thriving in Wadsworth, despite the obstacles of road works and a slow harvest. The Market was started this year with the aim of giving local producers a place to sell their home grown or home made products, plus giving the Village residents an opportunity to purchase fresh and exceptional products. The Market has a ratio of 10 producers to 3 commercial or re-sellers. Even the comercial venders are diverse. Sew Moving is a quilt supply shop on wheels. Wadsworth Feed has some of the best flowering plants in Lake County, and Wild Tree Grape Seed Oil has quality products.

The three vegetable venders are extremely local. All have their produce growing within three miles of the Market. The harvest has been slow to come in, but worth the wait to get genuine homegrown veggies. The Mirai corn is picked up each market day in Harvard ready for you to buy.

The baked goods from Apple Holler and Wild Flour Bakers are mouth wateringly fresh.

The knitted items, the wood-crafted benches, birdhouses and spinners and the tote bags are all hand made and each one is unique. The Wadsworth Market is worth braving the road works, come enjoy a pleasant summer day and support the local entrepreneurs. Located in Wadsworth on the southwest corner of Wadsworth and Delany Roads, open on Friday afternoons, from 2 until 7 o'clock, with plenty of parking.
