Jewelry Faire to benefit Anderson Animal Shelter

Anderson Animal Shelter’s seventh annual Jewelry Faire will offer more than 4,000 pieces of donated jewelry, including new, vintage, youth, fine, and handmade jewelry. It also will have a new feature, the Jeweler’s Corner, with pieces donated by local jewelers.

The Jewelry Faire will be Friday, Sept. 6, to Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Fox River-Geneva American Legion Hall, 22 S. Second St. in Geneva

For $10, attend the preview from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Sept. 6. It will be followed by the sale, with a $5 admission, from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

All proceeds benefit Anderson Animal Shelter, which collaborates with public and private organizations and individuals to shelter, care for, and promote the adoption of stray and unwanted companion animals.

It advocates for the compassionate and humane treatment of these animals through direct care, humane education and community outreach programs.
