Coffee's on @ Lake Villa District Library
Next time you visit Lake Villa District Library, you'll be able to enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate thanks to a recently installed a Keurig Coffee Machine. A wide variety of K-cups are available for $1 at the Circulation Desk---cups, lids, cream, sugar, stirrers and plenty of napkins are conveniently located next to the Keurig.
Lake Villa District Library surveyed patrons last spring and the opportunity to buy a cup of coffee at the library was frequently mentioned. “It was a relatively simple feature to add and we are always looking for ways to improve service to our patrons” said Tony Gundrum, Library Board President. “Many people spend the entire day working or studying at the library and are pleased they don't have to leave the building to get a cup of coffee”.
LVDL will kick off Library Card Sign- up Month on September 2 with ‘Get a Card Get a Cup'. Any district resident, who visits the library in September to get a new library card, will receive a free K-cup. Stop by the circulation desk for details. Lost track of your Lake Villa District Library card? No problem. $1 replacement fee will be waived during the month of September.
