Route 173 work in Wadsworth, Old Mill Creek

Drivers in northern Lake County are being warned about a construction closure stating Monday, Aug. 26. Illinois Department of Transportation officials said the work is part of the ongoing reconstruction and widening project carrying Route 173 over the Tri-State Tollway in Wadsworth and Old Mill Creek. In order to complete the work, the entrance ramp to the eastbound toll road will be closed to westbound Route 173 traffic. Detours have been established.
