Letters to veterans:

The Exchange Club of North Chicago, which recently established Lake County Honor Flight, is asking that short letters be written to one or more veterans in advance of a simulated military mail call. The veterans are: Steve M. Aoyagi, Vietnam; Leroy Colston, Edgar C. Douglas, and Bernard M. Hermsen, World War II; Theodore Bush Hudson Jr., Korea; and William P. Smith Sr., Vietnam. All correspondence should be mailed to the Exchange Club, P.O. Box 2 North Chicago, 60064 or emailed to honorflightlakecounty@gmail.com no later than Labor Day, Sept. 2.
