Resident slightly injured in Hoffman Estates fire

One resident suffered minor injuries in a house fire Saturday night in Hoffman Estates.

According to a news release, Hoffman Estates firefighters arrived at 5:49 p.m. to find the ranch home on the 900 block of Morton Drive filled with smoke. A front bedroom was in flames.

Schaumburg and Streamwood firefighters also responded to the blaze, which caused an estimated $150,000 in damage and is still under investigation.

The resident was treated at the scene.
