Countryside Association to host art auction in Palatine

Countryside Association for People with Disabilities will hold an Art in the Countryside fundraiser from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at the Countryside Center, 21154 W. Shirley Road, Palatine.

The event will feature an auction of original artwork created by individuals at Countryside. Pieces include pastels, ceramics, acrylics, photography and jewelry. The Petty Theft Band will provide live entertainment. Admission is free.
