AMVETS members from Clinton and Deerfield win CONSUMERS FIRST raffle

The Illinois AMVETS Insurance program in conjunction with CONSUMERS FIRST and the Illinois Department of AMVETS is proud to announce that Robert LaFrentz of Deerfield, Ill., and Darrel Tucker of Clinton, Ill., are the winners of the Illinois AMVETS Insurance Program raffle.

LaFrentz won a flat screen television and Tucker won an AMVETS fall jacket, both courtesy of CONSUMERS FIRST Insurance. Their entry was drawn at the 2013 AMVETS Department of Illinois 68th Annual State Convention held in June in Springfield, Ill.

“The AMVETS has been a very honorable organization to belong to,” said Tucker, who is the finance officer for Post 14 in Clinton.

Tucker has been a member of Post 14 for eight years and is a lifetime member. LaFrentz is a member of AMVETS Post 66 in Wheeling.

CONSUMERS FIRST is teamed up with AMVETS through its Community Partners Program which gives back to non-profit agencies by providing recurring funds when its members/supporters purchase or renew their insurance policies through this program.

AMVETS members are defined as having served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserves, any time after Sept. 15, 1940, and were discharged under honorable conditions. The mission of the Illinois Department of AMVETS is to improve the lives of the nation's veterans and the communities in which they live.

Please contact CONSUMERS FIRST at 1-888-292-7277 or visit http://www.consumersfirst.com/Industry/CommunityPartners/Default.aspx to find out how the public can support the AMVETS by receiving an insurance quote. This program extends to all members, family and supporters of AMVETS. Participation will not increase insurance premiums or change coverage in any way.
