Forest board to change meeting site

When the Lake County Forest Preserve District board meets at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, it won’t be at the county building in Waukegan as usual. Instead, the 21 members will gather at the Heron Creek Forest Preserve’s Shelter B, at Route 22 and Old McHenry Road near Lake Zurich. The board occasionally holds outdoor meetings during warm months. The panel will discuss a proposed land purchase and other issues.
