Thompson Square, .38 Special at Northwest Fourth-Fest in Hoffman
Performances by platinum-selling acts, Thompson Square and .38 Special, will be part of the outdoor entertainment lineup at the Northwest Fourth-Fest in Hoffman Estates on Friday, July 5, and Saturday July 6.
Both concerts will be on the Main Stage at the Village Green, which is adjacent to the Sears Centre Arena.
Tickets for the Thompson Square’s 7:30 p.m. Friday show are $10 and include free parking. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.NorthwestFourthFest.com, at (888) SEARS-TIX, or at the Sears Centre Arena box office.
The performance by .38 Special at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 6, is free. Parking is also free.
The Northwest Fourth-Fest returns, bigger and better, with the area’s largest fireworks display, over 40 carnival rides, food offerings from locally owned restaurants and live music.
Hoffman Estates hosts the festival in partnership with Elgin, Hanover Park and Hanover Township. The festival is outside Sears Centre Arena and kicks off Wednesday, July 3, and runs through Sunday, July 7.
For information and a full schedule of events visit www.NorthwestFourthFest.com.
Given the popularity of last year’s event, the festival will offer an improved pyrotechnics display with a longer show and state-of-the-art, computerized launch system. The fireworks will be paired with a live performance from the Elgin Symphony Orchestra starting at 9 p.m.
Parking is free and the festival has increased traffic control, parking (9,000 spaces now available) and routes in and out of the grounds to provide the most convenient July Fourth celebration.
Hoffman Estate’s popular Arts and Crafts fair will be relocated inside the arena on the event floor on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7. Featuring over 50 booths, the new location will allow for an expanded roster of crafters from throughout the region offering some of their unique and beautiful handmade items.
In addition to the Arts and Crafts fair, the Hoffman Estates Chamber is hosting a business expo on the concourse level of the Arena. For information, contact Cheri Sisson directly at the Hoffman Estates Chamber (847)-781-9100 or Cheri@hechamber.com.
