Sunset Pool in Glen Ellyn reopens

Sunset Pool in Glen Ellyn reopened Monday afternoon after a power outage closed it Sunday night, park district officials said.
Power went out at the outdoor pool at 483 Fairview Ave. at 5 p.m. Sunday, but was restored by 10:30 the next morning, according to Dave Harris, executive director of the Glen Ellyn Park District.
The pool reopened by 1 p.m. Monday after park district staff worked to get pumps and chemical feeders back running.
All swim lessons and swim team practices remained canceled Monday.
