Arlington Heights Historical Museum to offer photography workshop

Learn how to take flower and garden photos on the grounds of the Arlington Heights Museum Campus, 110 W. Fremont, from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 29. Bring your DSLR, a tripod, if you have one, your questions and join the historical museum for this four-hour, hands on workshop.

Bill Kruser and Cindy Kuffel will work with you to assist you in taking beautiful photos of flowers or general garden shots. This workshop includes some basic classroom instruction to provide you with tips and techniques, and then spend a couple of hours on the grounds taking photos. Finish with a review of the photos that you took. There is an alternate plan in case of inclement weather.

Advance registration is available at ahmuseum.org, click on the classes/programs tab and follow the link for this workshop. In person registration is available at any Arlington Heights Park District registration office. Please include your email address when you register so that information can be provided to you before the class starts. Call the museum at (847) 255-1225 for information.
