Bring the family out for Hoffman Estates Jaycees carnival
The Hoffman Estates Jaycees are sponsoring a carnival June 27-30 in Barrington Square Town Center, 2300 W. Higgins Road, just east of Barrington Road, in Hoffman Estates.
This is a project that is hosted annually by the Jaycees and is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Hoffman Estates chapter. Funds raised during this summer event helps the chapter with the work they do within the community.
Weather permitting, the carnival will be from 6-10 p.m. Thursday, June 27; 6-11 p.m. Friday, June 28; 11-11 p.m. Saturday, June 29; and 1-10 p.m. Sunday, June 30.
“There will be a variety of rides, attractions, games and food for the whole family,” said Crystal Divis, project chairman. “Wristbands will be available for $20 on Thursday from 6-10 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 p.m.”
The Hoffman Estates Chapter of the Jaycees conducts numerous projects each year, including such projects as its Best Pizza Contest, Make a Difference Day Food Drive and Quarterly Business Networking After-Hours.
The Hoffman Estates Chapter of the Jaycees is one of the 700 local chapters throughout the United States. The Jaycees provide individuals between the ages of 21 and 40 the opportunity to network and develop new skills while serving their community. The Hoffman Estates chapter is always looking for new members.
The Hoffman Estates Jaycees meet at 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month at the Hoffman Estates Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road.
